Framila Terms of Service
Last updated: October 9, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Framila iOS application (the “Service”). “We,” “us” and “our” refer to the operator of Framila.
By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
1) Eligibility
You must be legally able to agree to these Terms, or have a parent or legal guardian agree where required. You may use the Service only where lawful and available.
2) The Service
Framila lets you frame photos, add text and handwriting, combine two photos, and save or export digital artwork.
- No Framila account is required.
- Creating, editing, local saving and exporting work offline. Apple purchases, restoration and some subscription verification require a connection; iCloud-only photos must first be downloaded.
- Your artwork library is stored on your device. Framila does not provide its own cloud sync or online recovery.
- Frames and paper textures are digital designs. Framila does not supply physical frames, printing or delivery.
3) Free access and Framila Premium
Framila includes single-photo framing, personalization and stories on the back without a subscription, using the styles and export options available in the app.
Framila Premium provides additional frame styles, two-photo artwork and higher-resolution export options. Each plan’s features, limits, price and billing period are described in the app before purchase and form part of the subscription offer. Changes affecting a paid subscription remain subject to applicable law.
Saved Premium artwork remains editable and available for standard export after a subscription expires. Creating new Premium designs and using higher-resolution export options require active access. Local storage remains subject to device capacity and the app’s library limits.
4) Subscriptions and payments
Subscriptions are auto-renewing in-app purchases through Apple.
- Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. The purchase screen shows the localized price, billing period and any applicable offer.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends.
- You can manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period.
- Restore purchases checks for an eligible entitlement with Apple; it does not restore your artwork library.
- Apple handles billing and refund requests under its policies, without limiting applicable statutory rights. Any trial or offer is governed by the terms shown at purchase.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
5) Your content and artwork
“Your Content” means the photos, text, handwriting and other material you use in the app. You retain any rights you have in Your Content. We do not claim ownership of Your Content or your exported artwork. The app processes Your Content locally to provide the features you use.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to use Your Content. You are responsible for ensuring that saving, sharing, printing or publishing your artwork complies with applicable law and others’ intellectual-property, privacy and other rights. Using Framila does not clear rights in the underlying material.
6) Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- violate law or another person’s rights, including through fraud, unlawful harassment or exploitation of minors;
- use material you are not authorized to use;
- introduce malware or interfere with the app or related systems; or
- bypass subscriptions or other access controls.
Restrictions on copying or reverse engineering are subject to applicable law and the Apple license described below.
7) Intellectual property
The app, software, included designs and branding belong to the operator of Framila or its licensors. You may use the included designs in artwork you create and export. This does not transfer ownership of the app’s materials or permit redistributing them as standalone assets.
8) Local storage and third-party services
Deleting the app or its data, device loss, system failure or storage corruption may cause loss of artwork. Keep separate exports of important work. PNG and PDF exports are finished artwork, not backups that restore an editable library.
Your system settings may include app data in an Apple backup or sync exported images through Photos. Apple and sharing destinations you choose have their own terms and privacy practices. We remain responsible for our own legal obligations.
9) Service availability and changes
Features may be affected by device compatibility, storage or Apple service availability. We may update, modify or discontinue the Service, subject to applicable law. Material changes affecting a paid subscription will receive any notice or remedy required by law and Apple’s applicable procedures. Changes to these Terms apply prospectively, with notice or agreement where required by law.
10) Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Your license may end for a material breach of these Terms or under the Apple Standard EULA, subject to applicable law.
Ending use or termination does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; cancel through Apple to stop future renewals.
11) Service expectations and consumer rights
Export quality depends on the source photos, crop, output settings and printing conditions. Export sizes refer to artwork width and do not add detail to the source photos. We do not guarantee a particular appearance or print result.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty, remedy, consumer right or liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct or death or personal injury where such limitation is prohibited.
12) Apple App Store terms
The license to the app is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). These Terms supplement that license and do not replace it. The Standard EULA governs any conflict concerning the app license, subject to mandatory law.
The Service is provided by the operator of Framila, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
13) Governing law and miscellaneous terms
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Framila is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer rights or access to courts available where you live.
If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
