Record your first milestone

1. In Today, tap Record a milestone.
2. Describe the event and choose its date and category.
3. Refine the description with AI if you wish, then tap Choose the look.
4. Choose Gallery, Editorial, or Postcard. Add a photo or illustration, and review the title and description.
5. Tap Save milestone. Find the record in My milestones.

You can record a milestone without AI. Closing a new record with content keeps a draft, ready to continue later.

Find Settings or view the introduction again

Open My milestones, then tap the Settings control in the top-right corner. Choose View introduction to replay onboarding. This does not change your saved milestones.

Free and Premium

Free includes your first 3 finished milestones in total, with full support for manual writing, your own photos, and all launch presentations. Premium supports unlimited finished milestones with the same full support.

Free also includes one-time gifts of 3 AI text generations or refinements and 3 AI illustrations. These allowances do not refresh each week or month. Premium includes 100 AI text generations or refinements and 20 AI illustrations per month. Text and illustration allowances are separate; unused monthly allowances do not roll over.

On either plan, you can always revisit and edit existing milestones, use basic sharing, and export them. These features remain available if your subscription ends.

An AI request did not finish

Check your internet connection and remaining text or illustration allowance. You can cancel or retry, keep editing, or save without AI within your plan’s milestone allowance. A successful AI text generation or refinement uses one text creation; a successful illustration uses one image creation. Failed requests do not consume either allowance.

Keep a backup of your collection

In My milestones → Settings, choose Export milestone backup and save the file somewhere you can find it. Backups include milestone text and images; keep them private.

To add records from a backup, choose Import milestone backup. Import preserves existing records and adds new ones. Your device backup also includes the app’s collection. Became does not provide cloud collection synchronization.

Export a backup before removing the app or deleting records if you want to keep a separate copy.

Restore Premium or manage your subscription

Open Premium from Today or Settings, then choose Restore purchases using the Apple Account that made the purchase. An internet connection is required.

Manage or cancel subscriptions in your iPhone’s Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, or use the Manage subscriptions link in Became. Your saved milestones remain in your collection when a subscription ends.

Send a useful support request

Include your Became version, iOS version, and the steps that led to the issue. A screenshot can help; leave out any personal record or information you do not want to share.
